About the Role
Minimum 2 years’ experience in general building maintenance, construction, or a related field.
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.
Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation (preferred).
Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Requirements
Perform general building repairs and preventive maintenance on suites, common areas, and exterior grounds.
Handle minor plumbing, electrical, and carpentry issues (e.g., fixing leaks, light fixtures, switches, door hardware).
Oversee landscaping, snow removal, lawn care, and seasonal maintenance.
Respond promptly to tenant maintenance requests and coordinate with property management when contractors are required.
Conduct routine inspections to identify repair needs and safety issues.
Assist with suite turnovers, painting, and small renovation projects.
Maintain an organized inventory of tools, materials, and supplies.
Ensure compliance with building, safety, and maintenance standards.
